A New Lighting Concept for
the Coastal Path
Saint-Brévin, France
The French city of Saint-Brévin unveiled a major outdoor lighting project, designed to highlight the path that runs along the seafront. The aim of this project was to improve the experience of walkers while enhancing the natural environment and the maritime landscape, without harming the local ecosystem.
For the new lighting, the choice fell on the Olivio Gobo projector, renowned for its quality and its ability to project custom-designed patterns and light images. These projectors, installed along the path, create subtle and elegant lighting, highlighting the textures of the coastal landscape and the natural shapes of the coastline.
They also allow the projection of artistic patterns, creating a unique and dreamlike atmosphere, especially during nighttime walks.
This lighting project has not only improved the safety of pedestrians and cyclists using this path in the evening, but it has also added an aesthetic dimension to the promenade. With artfully orchestrated lighting effects, it transforms the nights by the sea into an atmospheric and memorable experience. The new project symbolises Saint-Brévin’s commitment to sustainable urban development, respectful of its natural heritage and open to technological innovation.
