Bringing charm to light – the courtyard
transformed by Lanova
Project
800 5th Avenue
Seattle, USA
In Seattle, Washington, inviting spaces have been created that provide an ideal setting for contemporary office work. The repositioning of 800 5th Avenue has transformed the building into a modern workplace that meets the needs of today’s professionals. Designed with people at its core, the planners intentionally avoided oversized proportions, resulting in a warm and welcoming environment where creativity can flourish.
The building’s dynamic design distinguishes it from other workplaces. The use of materials such as white oak and exposed steel lends it a distinctive character, while the exterior lighting — featuring Lanova catenary luminaires — enhances its inviting atmosphere.
Lanova catenary luminaires are an excellent choice for this environment, offering great design flexibility and allowing light to be positioned precisely where it is needed – without the use of additional light poles.
A newly designed lobby, fitness centre, and courtyard areas further enhance the building. The courtyard serves as a generous meeting place, featuring several seating areas that contribute to the welcoming environment. With such features, 800 5th Avenue becomes a place of connection, boasting a stylish ambience and an atmosphere in which employees, visitors, and local residents all feel at ease.
