›Semper lux‹ — always light. When Hermann Bansbach founded us in Berlin after World War II, the city was marked by destruction and darkness. With a battery charger, he brought light to the people of Berlin during dark times, making their lives easier. Bansbach believed that light holds not only an economic value but also social and cultural significance. This belief has remained with us to this day. We continue to experience the fascination of bringing real quality of life to people through thoughtful lighting concepts.
At home all around the world
Semperlux became Selux – a company with more than 330 dedicated employees, at home around the world. From our innovation centers in Berlin, Lyon, and New York, as well as additional sales locations in the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, the Middle East, and agencies worldwide, we collaborate closely with lighting designers, architects, urban planners, and municipal companies to implement exceptional lighting projects, for people and in harmony with nature.
