WHERE WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
You will support us in actively accompanying the product development process with the following tasks:
- designing new outdoor luminaires and accessories
- component optimisation
- extending existing products, variant design, and detailed construction
- preparing individual, group, and assembly drawings as well as circuit diagrams
- creating bill of materials and setting up item master data using CAD/PLM systems
- technical support tasks in product development and design
What you bring to the team
- state-certified technician, graduate engineer (Dipl.-Ing.), or B.Eng. in mechanical engineering, precision engineering, or electrical engineering
- expertise in the design and development of cast, turned, milled, and sheet metal parts, as well as general knowledge of mechanical engineering
- experience in developing cast and plastic parts as well as surface and freeform surfaces is desirable
- confident use of 3D CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks) and MS Office applications
- experience working with ERP systems (preferably proALPHA)
- basic knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering and/or lighting technology
- expertise in materials and manufacturing processes
- good command of written and spoken German; English skills are an advantage
