Vol. 01 Light from light: Solar luminaires for a climate-neutral society
Date: 20th October 2021, 2 pm (CEST)
29 September 2021
Generating light with light sounds like a strange idea at first. Yet solar luminaires are a sensible solution even in our temperate climate zone. They generate energy virtually of their own accord and in a way which is safe for the environment. In addition, they function entirely self-sufficiently without energy costs. And as well as being fast-to-install, they’re gentle on nature too – with no added costs for cables or expensive routing of these.
Are you intending to promote climate protection within your own municipality? Maybe you are devising a marketing project to serve as an example ecological best practice? Do you want to illuminate areas with no infrastructure such as cycle paths and pedestrian walkways or carparks on motorways in an energy-efficient and cost-effective way? At our Licht Plus RE/MOTE event, we will be discussing why innovative solar lighting today constitutes a promising alternative to conventional, mains-powered street lighting.
