Olivio illuminates a school campus
Project

Campus Lindenallee
Bad Orb, Germany
Surrounded by nature, the Lindenallee Campus of the new Alea School is located in Bad Orb, Hesse. The school is an independent grammar school with an international profile. In the modern building, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, 40 pupils in Years 5 and 6 currently attend classes. After the planned expansion, however, up to 200 children are expected to attend the school – all the way to the Abitur or the International Baccalaureate.
The architectural concept ensures that the functional building blends naturally into the green landscape. Gently rolling terrain, mature trees and open areas merge with sports and leisure facilities to form an open campus. In this way, Alea School not only provides space for education, but also creates a place that connects learning with everyday life.

The lighting concept implemented with Olivio forms a bridge between architecture and landscape. Featuring a floral shape that harmonises perfectly with the timber façade, the luminaires lend the entire setting a distinctive and warm atmosphere.
Around 20 Olivio luminaires from the expressive Sistema design line create striking accents. Some of the six-metre-high poles are equipped with integrated power sockets. Just as the luminaires blend seamlessly into the environment during the day, their light is equally precise and purposeful in the evening and at night. To ensure safety and balanced illumination, the Olivio Medio luminaire was chosen using the floodlight distribution.
