Lif – A new dimension of street lighting
More versatile than almost any other luminaire, Lif adapts to a wide range of urban lighting tasks. Depending on the configuration, it can function as a luminaire for squares or pathways, as façade lighting, accent lighting or even all of these at once, while always remaining a minimalist light column. With the M6 Vertical Module, Lif further expands its range of applications and now also enables standards-compliant street lighting, without compromising its clear and reduced design language.
The linear optic module is integrated vertically into the luminaire form. High-quality optics with microfacetted reflectors ensure excellent visual comfort while protecting the night sky from unwanted light pollution. Additional lighting tools such as the Accent element or the Gobo projector for eye-catching effects extend planning possibilities. Combined with smart modules such as speakers, cameras or Wi-Fi elements, Lif becomes a key component of the Smart City.
Identity in the urban context
With the M6 Vertical Module, Lif supports individual lighting concepts through a wide range of combinations of luminaire finish, light colour and reflector material. This creates design freedom, allowing the luminaire to be precisely tailored to its surroundings. Different surface finishes and reflector colours enable finely tuned adaptation to the urban context. Powder-coated or painted finishes in matte, glossy or metallic versions can be combined with reflectors in silver, gold or black. From subtle colour harmonies to deliberately set contrasts, Lif integrates seamlessly into architectural contexts, either discreetly embedded or as a clear design statement.
Three optics for individual requirements
To meet a wide range of lighting needs, the Vertical Module is available with three optical variants: a high-efficiency ›Performance‹ version and two comfort options. ›Comfort Louvers‹ increase visual comfort through lateral louvres, while ›Comfort Lens‹ provides particularly uniform illumination. This enables larger pole spacings in full compliance with standards, while also ensuring people-friendly lighting in high-visual-quality applications.
