50Hertz Berlin

Accentuating openness with light

With its transparent and geometrical façade, the new headquarters of the electricity grid operator 50Hertz shines resplendent. For interior architecture, planners at the LOVE architecture and urbanism bureau opted for the concept of open and flexible workspaces.

For optimal lighting, an individual solution was developed by Selux in close cooperation with the ceiling manufacturer Haufe. Here the recess depth of the modular M36 luminaires has been reduced to just less than 25 mm, ensuring the light lines run flush to the ceiling with seamless transitions. The special office optics ensure glare-free light and optimal visual comfort.
