In Hennef, even wait­ing for the bus is fun! The redesigned bus sta­tion in this town near Bonn is now illu­mi­nated with friendly, bright and eco­nom­i­cal LED light. Eight rec­tan­gu­lar canopies of var­i­ous sizes were erected for pas­sen­gers and buses in this sta­tion. Basic light­ing for the indi­vid­ual shields com­prises a total of 160 spe­cial water­proof lumi­naires, which are made from plas­tic and arranged in pairs. Spe­cial LED optics by Selux ensure a sym­met­ri­cal angle of radi­a­tion for the lumi­naires. LED light strips cov­er­ing a length of 477 metres in total have been inte­grated above the plate glass perime­ter of this shield-type roof con­struc­tion.
