The software group SAP have opened a new Innovation Centre in Potsdam on the site of the historic barracks on Jungfernsee (Maidens’ Lake). The new centre for computer technologies is to house up to 150 employees. The research teams will be developing innovative software applications based on SAP’s “Hana” database platform. One main focus will be on IT applications in the medical field. When designing the building special emphasis was laid on creating an open and creative work environment. The lighting solution was realised using M36 surface-mounted and pendant luminaires from Selux in zinc yellow.

  • The M is a highly flexible family of luminaires combining a virtually universal range of applications with minimalist design. Thanks to the manifold assembly variants, profile widths and optics systems, this system of light channels can provide a custom lighting solution for even the most specialist requirements precisely to the millimetre, whether as single luminaires or a complex lighting structure.
