Berlin, Germany

Schloßstraße is the main shopping street in the Berlin district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf and acts as a centre for the south-western regions of the city. The street has a trajectory of around 1.7 kilometres, runs through Steglitz from north to south. It was recently renovated completely as part of a large-scale road development project.

New pavements and parking bays have been created and, in order to enhance Schloßstraße as a shopping street, particular emphasis has been placed on an appropriate lighting solution. 20 Selux Trocadero 760 and Trocadero 600 luminaires therefore provide appropriately styled lighting on both sides of the roadway.

  • Trocadero is a revival of the street furniture tradition. Trocadero luminaires are a synthesis of styles providing a lighting solution for both classical and contemporary architecture. Combined road and pathway fittings can be used for traffic and pedestrian lighting in city streetscapes. Vario-Optics for optimal visual comfort, allow the lamp position to be modified within the reflector enabling light distribution to be adapted to the road geometry.
