Trinity University

Trinity University, located in historic and culturally rich San Antonio, is one of the nation's top private undergraduate institutions that has been consistently ranked No. 1 among colleges and universities in the western part of the United States by U.S. News & World Report's America's Best Colleges. When the school recently added a new campus, it included lighting products by Selux.

To maximize the light quality in the hallways and classrooms and add to the overall aesthetics of the environment, project designers specified the Selux Artec S4 and Aurea fixtures. With clean, aerodynamic lines that are consistent in both the fixture and roofline, the Artec S4 fixture optics outperformed others in a comparative onsite simulation mockup completed during the design phase of the project.

The contemporary Aurea suspended fixtures use the advanced Selux-patented Aura Technology providing for superior technical performance and aesthetic design. Combining a multi-layered, scratch resistant, acrylic material with a satinized, anti-static finish, the edge-lit fixture provides a smooth and even glow throughout the self-illuminated form and offers balanced lighting throughout the space.
