Lumen Award of Merit 2007
"Fresh, competitive and edgy describes this financial management firm that occupies the top floors of the Lever House, NYC. The architecture is bold and full of contrast and the lighting plays a supporting role. The high gloss black wall contrasts the soft luminous ceiling composed of stretched fabric over a metal frame. Perimeter offices utilize a continuous 3' wide luminaire that provides "borrowed light" into the adjacent office. (Lumen 2007, pg 21)
Selux M-series fixtures, more precisely the M60 recessed with the Satine lens, were configured in practical lines of light, allowing for shadowless clear visibility throughout the office space. The design of the office space with the help of the lighting produces an environment encouraging creativity and productivity.
M60 offers an ultra-slim extruded form in recessed, suspended, wall and surface mounted extrusions. Direct, Indirect or Direct/Indirect configurations are available using T5 or T5HO lamps. A wide variety of standard recessed mounting options are available. As well as options including MR11 down lights, track, digital addressable dimming, flex whip wiring harnesses and others. The Selux M60 is the ideal extruded form, allowing for end caps to be flush to walls or other structural forms, angular connections at any location, and clean and simple installations.
