More than just a museum.

Harley-Davidson Motor Co. celebrated the grand opening of the H-D Museum on Saturday, July 12th 2008. The museum was designed to be more than an ordinary museum; it was created to not only show the stories and history of Harley-Davidson but also to reflect the combination of style and functionality of a Harley.

What has always set Harley-Davidson apart from others is their focus on timeless quality. It was Pentagram Architects and Brandston Partnership's goal to match the exhibit lighting with that same timeless quality of a Harley; and Selux was a perfect match.

The M-series line of linear florescent lights was chosen for their design flexibility and customization options. The seamless square configurations of direct-indirect pendant lighting was ideal for the center displays, with soft continuous light that creates a shadow-less, timeless, attraction.
