Energy Grants Fund Solar Lighting for Scenic Trail
RiverPlace Development Corp. recently installed se'lux SonneLITER solar powered luminaires atop polymer and concrete poles along a section of the Schuylkill River Trail in West Reading, Pennsylvania. The fixtures illuminate approximately 1/4 mile of the trail.
By choosing SonneLiter, RiverPlace is utilizing breakthrough energy saving lamp and optic system technologies developed by Selux to run low wattage T6 metal halide lamps. With zero light pollution, these fixtures leverage the efficiency and defined distribution of the T6 metal halide to offer higher lumen to watt ratios than any other solar lighting solution currently available. Indeed Selux was awarded, with the release of SonneLITER, a special certificate of recognition from the IESNA (International Society of North American Engineers) for being the first solar-to-DC-to-T6-Metal-Halide-Lamp system to date.
