A Light-Emitting Diode (LED) is a semiconductor device which converts electricity into light. LED lights are more rugged and damage-resistant than compact fluorescent and incandescent lamps. SELUX offers many fixtures incorporating LEDs and continues to develop new exterior and interior LED fixtures.

Many post top fixtures also feature IDA-Approved "Dark-Sky Friendly" Full-Cutoff optics that may qualify for LEED points. All fixtures come with an extended 3-year warranty. LED products available with an extended 5-year warranty (see spec sheets for details).
