SELUX announces compliance to Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007
SELUX has made slight changes to its product line in order to bring it into compliance with the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007!
The act was designed to reduce America's dependence on oil and confronting global climate change through new governmental regulation. SELUX has replaced all probe-start ballasts for 150w - 400w Metal Halide lamps with pulse-start ballasts that provide higher energy efficiency and better lamp performance. The 175w Metal Halide lamp option has been removed, however the increased efficiency and lumen output gained by using a pulse-start ballast with a 150w Metal Halide lamp results in almost identical performance with less power consumption.
