MAINTENANCE AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER:
Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Manages the maintenance function of the facility, including; building, grounds and equipment.
- Manages maintenance personnel, and assists routinely, in repairs of:
- complex electrical and mechanical equipment, including automated machines, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems and alarms.
- Installation of electrical equipment with minimal instructions.
- Diagnoses of mechanical, electrical and facility problems, replaces or repairs parts, detects and replaces defective control modules.
- Complex wiring tasks; installation of power, light, electronic and control circuits.
- Uses a variety of hand and power tools, able to work off of blueprints and drawings to troubleshoot and repair equipment and tools, to include Boilers, furnaces, conveyors, and machine shop equipment to include; CNC and Press Brake equipment.
EH&S Responsibilities:
- Manages the EH&S function for a 135+ union and non-union facility.
- Responsible for ensuring that the Company and all personnel are trained, equipped and in compliance with all OSHA, NYS and Company-directed policies, procedures and standards.
- Responsible for all OSHA recordkeeping.
- Responsible for creating and conducted plant-wide safety training.
- Conducts safety audits, accident investigations, coordinate tool-box talks, Safety Committee Coordinator and generate safety communication to all personnel.
- Work closely with all personnel and supervisors to promote and maintain a highly-safety oriented culture.
- Coordinate inspections and maintain site fire safety equipment.
- Monitor and dispose of all site waste generated including hazardous waste tracking, disposal, and manifesting.
- Maintain site chemical inventory and storage and maintain material safety data sheets.
- Identifies and implements corrective action plans and performs follow-=up inspections.
The ideal candidate must have:
- A minimum of 5 – 7 years experience in each area of responsibility, maintenance & safety.
- An associate degree in business administration or related area of study, preferred.
- Successful completion of OSHA 30-hour training and certification, preferred, but not required.
- Strong, proficient MicroSoft Word and Excel.
- Spanish bi-lingual verbal and written skills a strong plus.

ENGINEERING MANAGER - PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER:
SELUX is seeking a highly skilled, degreed, mechanical engineer to manage the engineering
function, with:
- 7-10 years of combined product design engineering and engineering management experience.
- Hands-on, 3D modeling, product design experience, in sheet metal fabrication and/or lighting manufacturing.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to critical deadlines, while ensuring that accurate design details are adhered to through completion of manufacturing.
- Strong project management skills; able to drive new product development from conception to design, marketing, purchasing and manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills; able to effectively manage a group of engineers, all with multiple projects, scopes, levels of expertise and capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Graduate degree in ME, Business Management or other relevance, preferred.
PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER:
Selux Corporation is seeking a Product Design Engineer for job location at Highland, NY. Perform Engineering Design of products using Aluminum Extrusions. Create product layout concepts using 3-D Modeling software. Create Engineering drawings, material specifications, and BOMS. Build and evaluate prototypes using manufacturing principals.
Must have BS or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering plus 3 years experience in these job duties/skills. Respond with a copy of resume.

SUPPLY CHAIN SUPERVISOR:
Selux Corp. is seeking an experienced, Supply Chain Supervisor, to oversee the overall supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of materials, as well as selection of vendors and vendor management. This position requires and individual to:
- Develop, coordinate and maintain supplier quality operations to ensure delivery of quality components.
- Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of operations
- Coordinate and resolve issues regarding existing and new products.
- Facilitate supplier continuous improvement and total customer satisfaction by performing supplier process audits and reviews.
- Oversee the activities of the purchasing department in procuring materials, equipment and services.
- Ensure contracts with suppliers and vendors are consistent with corporate objectives including tight, fast-paced manufacturing lead/delivery times.
- Participate in major contract negotiations with top suppliers to secure and achieve competitive prices.
- Develop purchasing, inventory and quality plans, policies and procedures for the area of responsibility.
